Durham Christian High School seeks to hire two full-time teachers

 

These teachers must have expertise and experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Physical Education (likely combined with an Athletic Director Position)
• Science
• Math
• Humanities – history focused

The positions are flexible based on the best candidates available. The desired candidate will profess a faith in Jesus and demonstrate a vibrant Christian lifestyle; and have an excellent rapport with teenagers.

Durham Christian High School seeks to hire a Facility Manager

 

The position will involve daily cleaning of our school building and management of all health and safety responsibilities related to our facility. The position is for 30 hours / week. A complete job description is available upon request.

 

We are a growing school with approximately 140 students and 20 staff members. The desired applicant would love working with people (especially teenagers), have a heart for Christian education, and a desire to serve.
 

Specific qualifications:
• Profess a Christian faith
• Excellence in planning, organization, leadership and attention to detail
• Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks
• Physical ability to spot lift and carry up to 25kg
• Provide a satisfactory police check – vulnerable sector
 

The start date is flexible, based on availability. Some overlap with the current Facility Manager would be ideal. The position could potentially be split between 2 ideal candidates, or we would be open to sub-contracting for the daily cleaning.
